|水盂作为文房用具，除其实用意义外，更可为观赏陈设之用，供置于书斋案几之上，与砚田相伴，与文人相对，逸趣横生。正所谓“几案之珍，得以赏心而悦目”。此件白玉水盂，色泽温润，造型古拙。器作圆口，内敛，中空，用以盛水。旁侧圆雕两童子相立。一童子手捧喜鹊，攀附于侧，另一童子蹲伏于地，手抚瑞兽，好奇活泼之态，栩栩毕现。此之图样又有“欢天喜地”之美意。
