A 17th century stumpwork panel depicting a mother and children in a garden,embroidered with stumpwork and metal thread with the central figures surrounded by fruiting trees, flowers, a palace, a parrot, a kingfisher, insects, a lion, a leopard and a pool containing a fish, 29cm x 39.5cm, label verso stating that the panel was worked by a Miss Solis, a relative of the late Rebecca Grove.
