作者简介：白崇禧(1893-1966)，字健生，回族，广西桂林临桂区山尾人，中华民国陆军一级上将，誉为“小诸葛”。军阀新桂系代表人物，与李宗仁合称李白。北伐战争时，率广西军队攻至山海关。北伐成功后，和蒋介石及其它地方势力多次开战，抗日战争爆发后，二人动员广西的军队抗击日军，合作指挥多场大战，屡有胜果。曾获得青天白日勋章、抗战胜利勋章、英国巴士武士勋章等勋章。白崇禧在抗日战争胜利后，担任“中华民国国防部长”，然而国民党政府未能保住在中国东北地区的战果，局势对国民党政府愈趋不利，新桂系最终亦无法保住中华民国的半壁江山。解放军解放中国大陆后，白崇禧逃往台湾，1966年逝于台北。
