An Inscribed Blue and White Bowl, Kangxi, the rounded sides well painted in strong tones of blue, with two oblong reserves, one depicting a lady reading a letter and the other a garden night scene, with a woman greeting her lover as he climbs over the wall, with poetic couplets inscribed between, all below the everted rim, the interior with a medallion of three boys at play, six character mark of Chenghua, W:21cm., good condition apart from one hairline from rim to just short of the foot
