A Yellow Glazed Dragon Dish, six character underglaze blue mark of Kangxi and of the period, the centre finely incised beneath a clear yellow glaze with a fierce five clawed dragon surrounded by flames, pursuing the 'flaming pearl', the rounded exterior of the rim with a pair of similar dragons, W:14.5cm., good condition apart from a small restored chip to rim. A comparable Kangxi yellow glazed dragon dish was sold at Bonhams New Bond Street, lot 188, 6 November 2014 from the Property of a Gentleman
