提要：汪由敦，字师茗，号松泉，安徽休宁人。雍正二年（1724）进士，改庶吉士，乾隆间累官至吏部尚书协办大学士。学问渊深，文辞雅正，工书法，力追晋、唐大家。死后乾隆下旨命集其书为《时晴斋帖》，勒石内廷。此尚是内府精拓本，墨色匀称，光洁凝练，所收皆汪氏临摹诸家法帖，纤毫毕现，宛下真迹一等。
