IMPORTANT VASE EN PORCELAINE DE LA FAMILLE ROSEMarque et époque Jiaqing (1796-1820)A FAMILLE ROSE LIME-GREEN GROUND VASEJiaqing seal mark and of the periodOf quatre-lobed shape, the tapered body rising to rounded shoulders surmounted by a waisted neck and flared rim, brightly enamelled around the body with four stylised lotus blooms each suspending auspicious emblems, issuing leafy meandering tendrils and growing fruits of thesanduo including buddha's finger citron, the shoulders decorated with four giltji characters alternating with pink bats, with a band of pendantruyi-heads in pink and yellow enamels around the shoulders and rim, and a band of upright lappets around the base, the neck similarly decorated with four lotus flowers issuing leafy tendrils, all reserved on a soft lime-green ground, the interior and base enamelled turquoise, later wood cover with jade finial.23cm(9in) high.
