拍品形制规整端庄，外壁施胭脂红，发色极为难得，色泽均匀，一如故宫博物院所藏淡粉釉瓶，呈色浅淡如桃花，相当可人。内壁施白釉，洁净莹亮，上以粉彩绘高士执笔闲坐蒲团之上，面前卷轴平展，似欲落笔，童子躬身研墨，姿态生动可爱，身周错落放置书卷、宝瓶、卷缸、古鼎等博物器物。胭脂粉嫩怡人，粉彩设色鲜艳，画工精湛细腻，人物形象传神，深具文人雅意。
