罗汉呈曲膝正面坐相，手捻佛珠，身材瘦骨嶙峋，称之为枯骨罗汉。其额际高凸，眉间微蹙，面含笑意，胸前肋骨凸露，所穿袈裟，自然下垂，舒展流畅，两袖间密麻折皱，雕刻细致，整器雕刻工艺精湛，罗汉栩栩如生，神韵俱佳。罗汉肌肤裸露处分涂褐彩，袈裟通施窑变釉，所施釉汁如瀑布自上而下垂流，釉色红、白等釉交织变幻，垂流似霞若焰，妍丽璀璨，瑰丽斑斓。
窑变釉发展至清雍正、乾隆时期已被视为祥瑞，据《南窑笔记》记载，清代生产窑变釉，入火使釉流淌，颜色任其自然，并非有意预定某一种色釉，但基本掌握了窑变釉的规律。而本品无论从造型、工艺、釉色皆属乾隆时期精美佳作。
