拍品为修长秀美之陈设器，颈部修长略外扩，线条优美，形制周正。外壁所施霁蓝釉,色泽深沉,苍妍夺目。
霁蓝釉由元代景德镇创烧,明清两代皆有生产，《南窑笔记》中把它和霁红、甜白相提并论。天球瓶始于明代永乐、宣德年间,原名为“千秋瓶“，象征着“千秋太平”之意。
