拍品属宫廷吉祥用语瓷。器型规整，内以白釉为地，以矾红装饰五福捧寿图，外壁以黄彩地，并开光内书有“万、寿、无、疆”四字，开光间饰粉彩西洋缠枝花卉纹。整器纹饰布局对称，绘画精细，填彩精准，寓意明显，雍容华贵，当属嘉庆御窑精工之作，且成对流传，尤为难得。
“万寿无疆”是官窑瓷器上流行的一种恭颂皇帝的吉语装饰图案，由康熙官窑瓷在花蕊纹饰内各书一吉祥文字拼凑成四字吉语的图案延续演变而来，为宫廷祝寿之用。
