款识：『大明嘉靖年制』六字双行楷书款
说明：明清时期，黄釉器为御用瓷器之重要品种。娇黄，明宣德时始创，因其色娇嫩光亮如鸡油而得名，向为后世推崇。拍品形制规整，沉稳大方，敞口弧腹。通体满施娇黄釉，釉面光亮滋润，呈色纯正，足内施白釉，落款字体秀劲大方，是为典型嘉靖官窑器。明清宫廷用瓷等级森严，黄釉是皇家控制最严格的一种釉色。据《国朝宫史》卷十七“经费－铺宫”记载，皇太后、皇后用里外黄釉瓷；皇贵妃用黄釉白裹器；贵妃、妃用黄地绿龙器；嫔用蓝地黄龙器；贵人用绿地紫龙器；常在用五彩红龙器。本件器物即为裹外黄釉器，仅至尊可用。
