此盖罐为铜质，胎体轻薄，形制精巧，便于把玩。盖面隆起，罐身敞口唇弧，短束颈，溜肩丰挺，弧腹下收，至低外撇，矮圈足，足内浮雕十字金刚杵。盖罐通体满工錾刻各式纹样，盖面为花卉纹，口沿饰弦纹，肩部饰双层覆莲纹一周，腹部为主体纹饰八宝纹，底部饰仰莲纹，与肩部相映成趣。
整器规整端庄，器型小巧却不失挺拔之态，满錾刻工艺，包浆淳厚亮泽，整体比例协调，纹饰寓意吉祥，装饰典雅大气，古朴大方。
