Chinese Da Ya Zhai Pattern Porcelain Moon Vase with iron red & gold Dragons, black & white flowers on a pale turquoise ground with applied pink Dragon handles to the shoulders, the raised foot with a brocade band on a yellow ground. Height 10 1/4 inches (26 cm.). NOTE: With old ink and black paint notations on paper and on the porcelain inside the recessed foot suggesting a Provenance to Lord Dudley, "from Japan/ #6,1879," and in paint 1898 with inventory mark, possibly for William Ward, 2nd Earl of Dudley.
