Pair of English bronze garniture ewers after a model by John Flaxman (British 1755-1826), now mounted as table lamps, late 19th century, each having a satyr handle with ram's head mask, grapevine garlands, laurel band, on an anthemion socle plinth with black slate and wooden base, apparently unmarked. Note: Based on Flaxman's design for "Sacred to Bacchus" circa 1785, mostly produced by Wedgwood.Approximate dimensions: to socket h. 21", w. 7. 25", d. 5. 75".
