Seth Thomas (American 1785-1851) Federal cherry tall case clock, first quarter 19th century, having a swans neck broken pediment supported by turned quarter round columns, arched glazed door, iron painted face with Roman numerals and incorporated seconds chapter, gilded and polychrome floral basket lunette above lozenge painted spandrels, later battery operated quartz movement, the trunk with paneled tombstone door flanked by chamfered sides, convex molded base, and rising on bracket feet, marked S.
