(d) Signed `Hollams`, also bears inscription `Isinglass/Hollams/Puttenden/Tonbridge` on a label on the stretcher, oil on canvas 44.5 x 59.5cm. * Isinglass (1890-1911), by Isonomy out of Deadlock, ran 12 times between 1892 and 1895 and won 11 times. He became the sixth winner of the English Triple Crown by winning the 2000 Guineas at Newmarket and The Derby in 1893; and the St. Leger Stakes at Doncaster in the following year.
