款识：大明宣德五年金箓大醮坛用，监造官吴邦佐
此冲天耳炉用铜颇丰，入手十分沉坠，其外壁皮色近于棠梨，颇显辉灿耀目。整器造型饱满，鼓腹浑圆，形制线条显清初风韵。 此炉底款颇为特别，其中“金箓大醮坛”为道家设法坛用语。明世宗朱厚熜在道坛祈祷时所用茶盏见有此款。其宣德五年吴邦佐款，亦为追摹明宣德五年铸炉之事所作，别具意趣。
