Description


铭文：鸠献蟠桃
铜质，小体，薄身，身重。砚面开阔，砚首铸饰一鹦鹉，其身下以一个硕大的寿桃化为砚堂，两翼长羽作砚缘，砚背随形内凹，下铸刻“鸠献蟠桃”阳文篆书四字。此砚以铜为材制范熔铸成型，纹饰设计匠心，熔铸流畅饱满，且以贺寿作为砚形题材，较为少见。其或为久玩，通体凹槽内陷所在积墨甚重，使其平添古意，甚多雅趣。
