砚长12.2cm；宽9.9cm；厚2.2cm

Description


此砚为端溪佳石所作，质地坚润，石色灰紫，触手生晕。整器形制方正，边线转角委婉。砚面开阔，浅开砚堂，砚额深陷作落潮式墨池，使得整体更具周正隽美之感。砚背阴刻铭文“性颇爱摹古，经年作蠹鱼南州，筠纸薄搨得晋唐书”，落款“朱珪”二字。配红木砚盒。
朱珪（1731-1807），字石君，号南崖，晚号盘陀老人。浙江萧山人，后随父亲迁居北京，入籍顺天府。系清代乾嘉时期名臣。
