款识：宣德
钵式炉用铜精纯，外壁呈栗壳皮色，莹润似一宝珠，赏之可爱。形作敛口，圆唇起沿，丰肩圆鼓，渐下渐收，弧收为小平底。炉底受磨处现出原铜金灿之色，与栗壳皮色对比明显，正中开框铸阳文“宣德”二字篆书款，线条平正，转角圆滑，字形十分规矩，显出清早期官造炉款之风格。
此类清初钵式炉，多见带有活环耳者，光素者较少见。此炉虽上下不着雕饰，但简洁流畅的线条与栗红皮色，更衬炉形之素雅，应为康熙官铸铜炉之佳作。炉下旧配吾木底座，更与炉身相得益彰。
