取料白玉，质色致密白润，包浆醇和细腻。通体施以圆雕技法，琢制两只莲蓬，以减地浮雕工艺雕琢出莲子，莲子排列有序，取其“连子”之谐音，古人寓意为“多子多孙，子孙满堂”。
另圆雕有一朵荷苞于莲蓬之间，赋予别样生机。底侧饰有卷曲荷叶，枝蔓弯曲扭转，线条流畅生动，形象生动，富有雅趣。此件挂件质地精良，体量适中，手感极佳，尤适把玩。
