A Wucai Dragon Phoenix Lobed Plate, Wanli Mark Height:8.5cm, Diam.:37cm Six characters of the reign mark, Da Ming Wanli Nian Zhi. The wucai plate is made in a big volume size, shaped in lobed mouth rim, in the central roundel, there is a group of dragon and phoenix couple, and on the interior sides decorate set of smaller dragon and phoenix sets between interlocking floral scrolls. Provenance: Acquired from the collection of John M. Warinner HAWAITAN. Condition: Brown holes visible, with usual traces of wear.
