An Underglaze Red Key-Fret Pattern Double Ears Dou Height:18.5cm, Width :17cm Six characters of the reign mark, Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi. The porcelain dou recalls the bronze ritual vessel, which made in Zhou Dynasty used for imperial ceremonial and religious events. Of straight mouth rim two circle handles attached to the shoulders, round body, high foot, it is decorated by underglaze red key-fret patterns as a diaper round the middle body and ruyi-shape design on the lower body. Provenance: Acquired from the collection of John M. Warinner HAWAITAN. Condition: Good condition, minor traces of age.
