This lot may have appeared in New Orleans, then disappeared, now it's back again.A fine and rare Derby imari plate c. 1770 decorated with patterns of leaves and chestnuts. Molded gadrooned and scalloped edge with gilding. Very good overall condition - minor hairline from rim. Marked on the back with pseudo Chinese kangxi character marks within a blue circle. Measures 8 3/8" in diameter.
