此瓶器形周正，造型稳重，釉面莹润，釉色鲜艳浓重，宛如燃烧的火焰般灿烂夺目，红釉之中带有蓝紫色窑变，十分难得。天球瓶以其形体似球体而得名，此种器形创烧于明代早期，流行于清代雍正、乾隆两朝，属典型陈设用瓷。
