简介：李剑晨，河南内黄人。1926年毕业于北京国立艺专，师从林风眠、闻一多、陈半丁等人。1937年公派欧洲学习。回国后，历任重庆国立艺专教务长兼西画系主任，国立中央大学教授，江苏省政协委员，江苏美协副主席，国际水彩画联盟理事、亚洲画会主席，被誉为”中国水彩画的开山大师”、”中国水彩画之父”。
