英文长介绍:This painting has a spacious and profound composition, complemented by rich, intentional brushwork. In the foreground, mountains rise one after another, with tree branches hanging down from the cliff, exposing the peaks. The central region of the painting is filled by a sea of clouds. Above the clouds is vivid back-view of Damo leisurely walking towards the distance. Damo is accented with lively details, including defined hair, his figure cloaked under a delicate red robe, and a firm grip on his bamboo cane with a hanging sandal. The painting has a simple brushwork, elegant style, and a tranquil aura, elevating the composition as a masterpiece of Zhang Daqian in the 1930s.

中文长介绍:此幅畫中構圖開闊幽深，筆墨沈酣蒼勁，近處山峰叠起，懸崖邊上的樹枝向下垂落，盡顯山峰之巔。畫面中部祥雲環繞，仿若雲海。雲海之上達摩身著紅衣，衣紋細致流暢，須發根根細密，背挑一根竹杖，杖上墜一草鞋，走向遠處，頗為詼諧，雖僅見背面，但刻畫簡約而生動，傳達出了人物如閑雲野鶴般的內心寫照。整幅筆意疏簡，格調淡雅，意境清幽，頗得文人雅趣，是大千30年代的佳作。
