英文长介绍:This pair of paintings consists of six fairy maidens, each holding flowers or musical instruments in one hand, and incense or seals in the other. The maidens have high noses and phoenix eyes, expressive of an elegant demeanor. Their figures are adorned with fine jewelries and don magnificent clothes. The maidens are encapsulated in celestial clouds, signifying the divine. This pair of paintings are exquisitely crafted in a typical Ming dynasty fashion, most likely by a palace painter.
