英文长介绍:Finely carved from the same piece of jade slab, this lustrous pair of boy figures are lively and expressive. One boy holds a kettle, donning a fine robe with gold-traced patterns of nine bat motifs, intertwined in curly flora. The other boy raises a cup with his right hand, his left hand, palm up, extended outward, and raises his head with a smile. Similarly to its pair, this boy is cloaked with gold-traced patterned robe featuring nine peaches. Boys became an increasingly popular subject matter for jade figures in the Song dynasty, reaching its height during the Ming and Qing dynasties. These two figures are skillfully sculpted and well preserved; worthy of any collection.

中文长介绍:此件作品為同一塊整料雕琢而成，玉質溫潤，色澤均勻，立體圓雕一雙童子，高鼻，大眼，小嘴，額頭飽滿，憨態可掬，喜慶吉祥。一童子雙手持壺，腰帶順垂而下，衣衫上刻有九只蝙蝠，衣領部刻有卷草紋，皆有描金；另一童子右手舉起一杯，左手手掌向外，仰首含笑，衣紋上雕有九處描金桃紋。兩童子衣飾華麗非凡，刀法鋒利明快，深淺浮雕清晰，對比強烈。此對童子寫實靈動，打磨光潤，意趣無窮。且用料如此不計成本，保存完美，並有原配木座，更是難得。
