本品选料硕大，材质上乘，玉质细腻，雕刻又别具匠心，基本保留了材料之原有形状，火烧着色，正面底部潺潺流水自岩洞而出，危耸的巨石间松树枝梗横斜其中，其间有灵猴献寿于仙人。背面景色也是嶙峋巨石的天然延续，此间，苍松耸天，潺潺流水自岩洞而出。隐喻出与世无争的人间美境。山子是清代玉雕工艺的新品种，泛指被通体雕琢成山形的摆件。山子的布局效果可谓是疏朗有致，层次分明，构思巧妙，立体感十足，切实将神态各异、造型逼真堪称火烧玉之精品。
