此炉折沿，短颈，扁圆腹，下承以三足。肩部饰凸起弦纹一道腹部与三足对应处饰有三条凸起的直线纹。通体施粉青色釉，三足底部显露酱黄色。釉色为典型的粉青色，青翠幽雅。炉腹至足部凸起的三条棱线原系仿青铜器的装饰纹样，因凸起处釉层较薄，呈浅白色，形成了出筋的装饰效果，翠玉般的釉色中显露出数道规整的白线，分外醒目。此炉造型仿青铜高，因此又称高式炉，是龙泉窑的上乘佳作。参阅：1、故宫博物院藏文物-龙泉窑三足炉;2、上海博物馆馆藏南宋龙泉窑青釉高式炉.
