玉环为青黄玉质，致密温润。满饰谷纹，颗粒饱满。内外边缘压线起棱。《周礼•春官》载“子执谷璧，男执蒲璧”。谷纹是玉璧上的主要纹饰，形如倒写的e字母，如同圈着尾巴的蝌蚪，因此俗称蝌蚪纹。此对玉古朴清雅，既可盘玩亦可佩戴。
