香熏精铜铸造，以瑞兽麒麟为形，身形矫健，身布鳞片状表皮，前腿挺立，后腿曲蹲，扭头向远处眺望。其头顶生独角，双耳竖立，圆眼怒瞪似铜铃，嘴微张，露出舌头和凶猛的獠牙。腹部中空上下联通，头部活环连接，供倒放香灰之用。麒麟是中国传统瑞兽，性情温和，传说能活两千年。古人认为，麒麟出没处，必有祥瑞。
