Daoguang seal marks and of the period|Each with deep rounded sides supported on a slightly tapered foot raising to a gently everted rim, the exterior decorated with five iron-red roundels of archaistic phoenix, all reserved on an even and attractive glaze of pale celadon colour, the interior with a further phoenix roundel, velvet box. Each 14.5cm (5 3/4in) diam.
