Description Crazy quilt, likely Pennsylvania, made from wool, challis, solid, plaid, and printed fabrics, having embroidered imagery including a flag, house, purse, boot, flowers, horseshoe, scissors, and spectacles. Embroidered floral vine border on two sides. Bound with a separate binding made of pieced velvets to a maroon fabric backing. Place names embroidered on the quilt top include "Orvilla" (Montgomery County, PA) and "Lennox Sms Co, Pa" (Possibly Susquehanna County, PA). 74" H x 73" W. Circa 1890.品相报告: Condition Report Dark blue dye of one fabric has migrated to the quilt backing. Otherwise in very good condition.出处: Provenance Private West Tennessee Collection.
