陈子庄（农历19135-1976），男，出生于四川省荣昌县（今重庆市荣昌区），现代画家。陈子庄早期作画，时号兰园，中期号南原、下里巴人、陈风子（陈疯子）、十二树梅花主人、石壶山民等，晚年号石壶。 陈子庄在书画艺术方面无疑是属于“顿悟”型的。他的绘画技法和思想有别于师门授受的沿习传统，而是直接取法于民间画工，坚持用民间画工的技法对传统文人画进行技法上的改造，从而形成了他别具一格的笔墨语言和绘画风格。陈子庄善于化繁为简，喜用简淡之笔描绘物象，构图简略随意，却常出乎意料，而令人玩味不尽。
