Large art nouveau/neo-classical punch bowl, WMF (ostrich mark) probably 1908, silver plated. Wide foot with reduced ornamentation in the form of small braided ribbon cartouches. On the broad sides figural applications in the form of a Pallas Athena and a warrior. Upper finish with a frieze of interlace band ornaments. Flared, openwork handles. Lid with large, also openwork knob. Glass insert and ladle missing. Silver wedding dedication on the lid, lightly rubbed, minimally bumped, 50 x 40 x 20 cm.
