拍品撇口、长颈溜肩鼓腹，胫部内收圈足外撇。铁锈花釉是雍正时新创的一种高温铁质结晶釉，釉料的主要成分是铁和锰，因釉面呈现褐、红色斑点，釉色似铁锈而得名，雍、乾两朝流行。此器造型端庄古穆，通体施铁锈花釉，釉面呈色以黑褐为主，釉层中闪现紫、红、褐等光泽，并有铁结晶形成的丝纹或斑点，泛金属光，其变化自然，意趣天成。
