The Montegrappa Privilege Gioiello Silver fountain pen has the distinction of being one of the only pens made with this technique in sterling silver.Originally inspired by a 1930s model that was part of the Montegrappa museum collection, the revamped version of the Privilege Gioiello Silver fountain pen heralds new engraving techniques and has been enhanced with sterling silver and decorated with new motifs produced with special techniques including hand-made, engraved patterns. This technique has never before been used on pens and Montegrappa`s selected expert craftsmen can only produce two or three pens per day.The 18-karat gold nib of the fountain pen is inscribed with the Montegrappa filigree pattern and is available in medium writing grade.The fountain pen is filled with a standard Monteverde international ink cartridge or an ink converter.Four models make up the offer, which includes: the "Arctic", with its reflections imitating frost, "Bark" with its granulation emulating the jungle surface, "Peacock" with spirals decorating the majestic feather tail and "The Wave", indicating the flow of water.
