A Monumental Chinese Fahua Jardinière, Ming Dynasty 26 x 41 inches (66.0 x 104.1 cm) PROVENANCE: E & J Frankel, New York; Christie`s New York, December 2, 1993, lot 50; Private collection, New York The jardinière with globular bombe shape, low relief scene of lotus pads and flowers rising from waves at foot, below four birds, glazed in white, turquoise, green and ochre on aubergine ground, riveting to lower body.
