Notes: Reference 742 is a true chimera in Rolex production;  produced in the 40s, it features a 38mm case which was unique for Rolex during this period, looking even larger thanks to its very thin bezel and long claw lugs. To the best of our knowledge, this is the very first time that this model is presented at auction.
