拍品为清代景德镇御窑厂仿明代官窑品种，釉下以青花和釉上红彩相结合为装饰工艺，或始创于明宣德时期，之后明清历代御窑延续烧造此品种。
拍品造型隽美，胎质细密，釉面莹洁。内外均以青花矾红彩为饰，盘心以淡描青花绘海水澎湃，矾红彩绘侧面立龙纹，外壁绘九条红龙翻转于青花海浪之间，象征九龙闹海，各彰其德，口沿加饰云头纹一周。整器工艺精湛，品质上佳，青花发色亮丽，红彩鲜艳，红蓝二色相互映衬，别具一格。
款识：『大清乾隆年制』六字三行篆书款
