Housed in an octagonal wooden case lined with velvet and covered in fishskin. Compass in excellent condition, with strong patina. Minor area of verdigris to brass cap. Case with some minor losses and cracking to fishskin. Appears to have original hardwear. Velvet lining remains plush, with some minor discoloration.
