选材青白玉，质地细腻温润，包浆浑厚。器体作八卦形片状，外壁出廓镂雕两对云形耳。一面琢太极八卦图案纹样，另一面琢刻“山鬼雷公”道教符咒：“雷霆杀鬼降精，斩妖辟邪永保奉，太上老君急急律令勅。”整器雕琢大气，字符刻画清晰，简约古朴，颇具遒劲意味。此类玉佩具有震慑邪恶，永保平安之用。
