青黄玉质，温润纯熟，局部受沁及灰皮。呈片状，半璧形，有出戟，双面同工。运用坡刀工艺琢出“臣子眼”，龙身以双勾阴线技法勾勒，线条流畅，雕工精湛。两端龙首处各一穿孔，以便于佩戴。整体造型古朴大气，具有显明的历史痕迹，器物精致美观，收藏价值极高。璜，《康熙字典》：半璧曰璜。璜为佩下之饰，有穿孔罥系之处。【周礼·春官·大宗伯】以玄璜礼北方。为六瑞之一。
