此件花觚选材和田青白玉，质地温润细糯，包浆醇厚，略带沁色。圆口外侈似喇叭形，长身细腰，腰部高浮雕龙纹盘绕，首尾相连，口衔灵芝，尾部分叉，骨骼强健，肌肉饱满，刚劲有力，一条小龙作攀爬跟随其后，造型生动，刚柔相济。整器掏膛规整，器形修长秀丽，雕琢细致入微，由于年代久远下部有修补。觚商周时期多为青铜材质，是一种酒器，到了明清时期因造型、材质有了变化所以多用于陈设。
