此炉以碧玉为材，玉色深沉，抛光上乘，整器制作严谨，气韵恢弘。盖钮圆雕，作盘龙钮，龙岿然而卧。磅礴威武，身躯辗转腾挪，矫健有力，须发鳞甲清晰分明。炉身与盖子母口嵌合，丰肩，两侧以镂雕技法作花卉耳。器身通体采用减地阳雕技法，地子回字纹装饰，阳刻饕餮及夔龙纹，雕刻线条流畅灵动，卷曲处打磨圆润，刀法遒劲有力。腹底内收，接兽面三足。整体用料厚实，掏膛干净利索，器型规整，力量感十足，弥足珍贵。配以红木底座。
