A Khmer, Angkor Vat style bronze figure of Buddha Śākyamuni, Cambodia, 12th century, Standing in the upright samabhaṅga pose on a bronze base, both hands in Abhayamudrā “the gesture of fearlessness”, moulded with cakra emblems. Wearing a diaphanous Saṅghāṭī, the long cloak with flaring sides covering both shoulders, showing the influence of the Indian Amarāvatī style. A belt with a floral buckle and lozenge shaped tassels.
