胡正伟，男，宁夏银川市人，生于1941年无党派，大专学历，1958年至1963年在宁夏地质局工作；1963年至1986年分别在银川市文化系统、自治区群艺馆、自治区文联工作；1986年至1994年在宁夏书画院工作；1995年至2002年在宁夏文史馆工作。曾于1974年在广州美术学院中国画专业进修，得名家指导。1982年结业于中央美术学院卢沉人物画进修班。中国美术家协会会员，宁夏回族自治区文联协会工作部副主任、宁夏美术家协会副主席，国家一级美术师。曾进修于广州美术学院、中央美术学院中国画进修班。
